ABOUT US

EST. 2014

The idea for B/A/D talks grew out of a simple observation that professional networking events contain a frustrating feature: participants often have to sacrifice complete conversations in order to maintain the quantity of connections offered by our large community of builders, architects, and designers.

John Kilfoyle of United Marble Fabricators and Paul Reidt and Linda Kochman of KR+H Cabinetmakers developed B/A/D Talks to provide our community with a forum for shared interests and an opportunity to have full conversations in a non-commercial setting. We sought the skills of an editor and journalist to facilitate our topical conversations and Kyle Hoepner, Editor-in-Chief, New England Home, kindly accepted the role of moderator of B/A/D Talks.

The B/A/D Talks Organizing Committee

The B/A/D Talks are programmed by a group of individuals representing a variety of perspectives on New England’s high-end residential design and construction community. The committee meets several times each year to decide on topics and recruit panelists for each talk.

Current organizing committee members are Paul Reidt and Cindy Hoeppner, president and director of marketing for Kochman Reidt + Haigh Cabinetmakers; interior designer Terry Gregory, principal of William Gregory & Associates; Brian Vona, owner and managing partner of KVC Builders/Koulopoulos Vona & Co.; and Kyle Hoepner, a writer and editor with a long history of engagement with the industry.

The B/A/D organizers are always open to topic and panelist suggestions for future talks. If you have ideas to contribute, we encourage you to email cindy@cabinetmakers.com.
